In this section you will find information on some of the key issues for people living with HIV.
HIV affects a wide range of people from all walks of life. The epidemic is constantly changing and because we all deal with things differently no two people's experience of HIV/AIDS will be the same.
ACON provides a range of services to people with HIV/AIDS including; counselling, housing, home care and transport, enhanced care, treatments advice, information resources and access to our interactive Learning Centre.
Our health promotion teams for HIV positive gay men and HIV positive women also provide support, information and groups for people with HIV, while our family support project provides services to families affected by HIV.
The Positive Living Centre (PLC) offers all people with HIV a place to just drop-in, relax, get a meal, use complementary therapies and the Internet, or take part in a range of activities including training, excursions and social events.
