ACON is passionate about ensuring LGBTQ+ communities are able to access a wide variety of affirming health services, which really understand their needs.
We want our communities to feel confident that the professionals they choose to work with are skilled, knowledgeable and equipped with the latest research and resources. We also understand that high quality clinical supervision can be transformational for both clinicians and clients, and a pathway to improved practice and better outcomes. That is why we have launched Pride Supervision, a new offering delivered by a team of highly skilled Psychologists and Accredited Mental Health Social Workers with specialist additional training in supervision and practice-based education.
We are experts in LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing and are keen to share this expertise with colleagues who are equally passionate about providing outstanding, affirming and accessible services to sexuality and gender diverse communities.
Clinical supervision can be provided flexibly as a specialist adjunct to your current supervision arrangements, or we can work with you as primary supervisors.
All income generated through Pride Supervision is reinvested into ACON’s funded counselling programs to ensure we can continue to provide free and low-cost services to those who need them.
